Pet-Friendly Rooms for Rent in Singapore
Pet-friendly rooms from $1,400/month. Fully furnished, no agent fees, designed for renters with a dog or cat.
Finding a pet-friendly room rental in Singapore is hard. Most listings on the major portals say "pet-friendly" but mean fish or hamsters; the rest come with restrictions, weight caps or last-minute landlord rejections. Coliva runs pet-friendly houses where dogs and cats are part of the household by design. This page covers what we offer, what pet-friendly looks like in practice, what it costs, and how to book a viewing.
Types of rooms
Every Coliva house has a mix of room types. We match each applicant to the room that fits their pet, lifestyle and budget.
- Common rooms. Single or super-single bed, shared bathroom on the floor. Best for solo renters whose pet sleeps in the room. Most affordable entry point on the listing.
- Ensuite rooms. Private bathroom, queen or single bed, often a small balcony. Best for renters who want bathroom privacy without paying master-room rates.
- Master rooms. Larger floor area, private bathroom, queen bed, often the quietest level of the house. Best for couples (one or two pax depending on the room) or for renters who work from home and need a desk + sofa setup in the bedroom.

What pet-friendly looks like at Coliva
Concretely:
- Welcome on enquiry. If a Coliva room is listed pet-friendly, your dog or cat is welcome subject to a quick temperament chat.
- Clear guidelines per house. Each home has a structured number of pet-friendly rooms and a published pet spec (dogs and cats accepted, microchip and AVS dog licence where applicable, breed and weight assessed for the specific shared environment).
- Spaces designed with pets in mind. Hard flooring throughout common areas and bedrooms (tile, vinyl plank or sealed wood), window screens on every opening sash, designated wash and grooming areas, and litter-box placement agreed before move-in.
- Housemate screening. We ask about pet allergies on every application so a new pet doesn't become a midnight problem for an existing resident.
How our pet-friendly homes work
We keep our homes comfortable for both tenants and pets by maintaining a structured pet environment. This is deliberate, not a limitation:
- Each home has a structured number of pets at any one time.
- Pet types and sizes are guided per house. We'll tell you on enquiry whether your specific pet fits the room and house balance.
- Shared spaces are designed to remain clean and comfortable for every resident, including the pets.
The result is a better living experience for everyone, including your pet. Pets that arrive at a chaotic, over-stretched shared house don't settle; pets that arrive at a calm, structured one settle within a week. We've watched it happen across every house we've opened.

Frequently asked questions
Are your rooms within walking distance to an MRT station?
Most of our homes sit in residential neighbourhoods rather than directly on top of an MRT line. That is part of why they suit pets and quieter living. The houses are a short bus ride or quick commute to Beauty World, Springleaf or Jalan Besar MRT, and from those stations the CBD is under 25 minutes.
How many pets are allowed?
Each home has a structured limit on the number of pets at any one time so shared spaces stay clean and comfortable for every resident. Specific allowances depend on the property; tell us about your pet on enquiry and we'll match you to the right room and house.
Are all rooms pet-friendly?
Not every individual room is suited to a pet (some master rooms are reserved for residents without pets so the household balance works), but every Coliva house has dedicated pet-friendly rooms. We'll recommend the right room for you on enquiry.
What's the security deposit?
One month's rent, refundable at end of tenancy minus any damage beyond fair wear and tear. No separate pet deposit, no surcharge for residents with a pet.
What's the minimum stay?
Most rooms lease on 6- or 12-month terms; a 3-month stay can be discussed for some rooms when the calendar allows. Longer stays often qualify for a discount on the listed monthly rate.
